Title: 2009 Large Business of the Year Description: The Fargo Moorhead Chamber of Commerce named Ulteig the Large Business of the Year at the Chamber Choice Awards luncheon on May 21, 2009. The award considers companies with more than 250 full-time employees that show growth in sales, services and/or growth in number of individuals served and/or expanded programs and services, demonstrate a commitment to ethical business practices, demonstrate a commitment to employee support and development, and demonstrate corporate citizenship and/or community leadership.

Title: 2009 Top 10 Best Multidiscipline A/E Firms to Work For Description: Ulteig is ranked among the 2009 Top 10 Best Multidiscipline A/E Firms to Work For in the country by management consulting and research firm ZweigWhite and engineering media specialists Stagnito Media. The annual Top 10 Best Firms to Work For ranking identifies the best firms to work for in the country in five categories: civil engineering, structural engineering, multidiscipline A/E services, environmental services, and architecture. Companies are selected based on their commitment to provide a positive work environment and challenging and interesting work opportunities for their employees. Winners are ranked based on the following criteria: compensation, culture, office environment, benefits, recruiting and retention, performance management, and professional development. Winners are selected based on the results of a comprehensive survey of workplace practices and an independent survey of employees.

Title: Builder's Association of the Twin Cities Associate of the Year Description: The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) honored Ulteig as "Associate of the Year" at their membership meeting on February 4th, 2010 . This honor recognizes companies that demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and is based upon evaluations of trust, communications, loyalty and ethics in business dealings among BATC member companies.

	Title: Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Description: The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption recognizes Ulteig as being one of the top five Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.

Title: ESRI Sag Award (Special Achievement in GIS) Description: ESRI applications, running on more than one million desktops and thousands of Web and enterprise servers, provide the backbone for the mapping and spatial analysis. The ESRI Special Achievement awards organizations who have embraced GIS technology and have made extraordinary contributions to global society and set new precedents throughout the GIS community.

	Title: Member of U.S. Green Building Council Description: Ulteig is a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and actively promotes LEED Accreditation among our engineering professionals.

	Title: Number 291 on ENR Top 500 Description: The 2009 Top 500 Design Firms list, published annually in April by the Engineering News-Record, ranks the 500 largest U.S.-based designs firms, both publicly and privately held, based on design-specific revenue. Ulteig ranks number 291, up from 326 in 2008.

Title: Top 25 Engineering Firm Description: Ulteig is number 16 on the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal's Top 25 List of Engineering Firms list. The firms are ranked according to the number of licensed engineers and scientists who work in the Twin Cities metro area. The company was ranked 16 on the list, up one from 17 last year. Ulteig has been named to the Engineering Top 25 for the past four years.

This annual list features firms that have outperformed the economy and competitors to become industry leaders. Ulteig has been included in this exclusive list.

Title: ZweigWhite Marketing Awards Description: On May 21, 2009 Ulteig won two 2009 Marketing Excellence awards and Best in Show at the ZweigWhite Marketing Now conference in San Francisco. The firm was awarded first place in Target Marketing for their compact florescent bulb holiday gift. Sent out to the firm's clients, the bulb was boxed in a recycled paper box with information about the company's commitment to sustainability and energy savings. The company also received first place in Advertisement and Best in Show for their "Come Back to Fargo" postcard campaign.
