2010 Residential C.I.P. Concrete Foundation Wall Packet Bookmark and Share

1/26/2010

Following more than twenty years of tradition, Ulteig continues to provide the construction industry with a packet of details and guidelines that covers numerous building conditions common in the residential cast-in-place concrete foundation market. This packet is intended to provide a visual representation of the International Residential Code's (IRC) requirements while accounting for information which is either not fully detailed in the Code or differs from the industry's regional construction methods. The packet is engineered and certified by Ulteig for use in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

More than twenty concrete contractors and builders subscribe through a licensing system to the Ulteig Master Foundation Wall Drawings each year, entitling them to receive both hard copy and electronic versions of the packet with their company's information contained in the title block. Both versions contain a section within the title block for incorporation of the site address for which the drawings are going to be used.

An up-to-date list of the 2010 license holders is attached below, along with a reference copy of the drawing packet. It is not to be used for permits, as it is uncertified and marked not for construction. It is intended to be used for educational and reference purposes only.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome. If you have any questions regarding the drawings or other engineering issues of interest, please call Trevor Axner, PE at 763-277-6255.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation in this area of construction.
