Ulteig Moves Up ENR Top 500 List

The 2009 Engineering News-Record's Top 500 Design Firms list has been released and Ulteig is ranked at number 291, up from last year's ranking of 326. Engineering News-Record (ENR), a McGraw-Hill publication, provides news, analysis, commentary and data. The Top 500 is an annual issue that ranks the 500 largest engineering, architectural and environmental design firms by revenue. It also ranks the largest firms in a wide variety of market sectors.
According to ENR, 2008 the Top 500 Design Firms generated design revenue of $90.58 billion in 2008, up 12.36% from 2007’s mark of $80.62 billion. But of the 474 firms on this year’s list that returned a survey last year, only 304 showed revenue gains over 2007, while 166 saw their revenue decline, with four firms unchanged. This compares with last year when there were 382 gainers and 77 firms with lower revenue.
