Ulteig Engineers provided electrical and mechanical services for the remodel of a 20,000 sq. ft. Oncology Clinic in Sioux Falls. The building consisted of offices, procedure rooms, an infusion center, a pharmacy compounding and laboratory area.
Mechanical responsibilities included designing the plumbing and hydronic heating systems. The hydronic system included hot water boilers, VAV reheat boxes and perimeter radiation. Also included in the services were the design of the fire protection system and DDC temperature control system.
Electrical service was re-designed to allow for the new air handling system. The building was remodeled to include new lighting, power, a paging system and a new telecommunications system.
