The Grand Forks International Airport had underground fuel storage and pumps at a number of different locations on the airport. It was the desire of management to consolidate all fueling facilities to one location. Ulteig provided complete engineering services over a period of four years to provide a consolidated fueling facility for all tenants. The facility contains: 4-20,000 gallon Jet A fuel tanks, 2-20,000 gallon AV gas fuel tanks, 12,000 gallon unleaded and diesel fuel tanks, all piping, pumps, valves and controls for on-loading, off-loading and inventory control. The pumps are enclosed in a shelter and the site is totally contained for any spill containment including an oil water separator.
