Ulteig Engineers worked with the City of Ortonville to replace a section of their raw water transmission line that transfers water from their municipal supply wells to their water treatment facility. The project entailed directional boring high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe beneath the Minnesota River in order to minimize disturbances. Ulteig provided preliminary, design, construction, and closeout phase services for the project.
